Great read, I myself picked up a used A7rii for my photography recently. The original A7 sure seems like a great deal, although the lack of IBIS and a BSI sensor are a few painpoints. I was considering it, but a better deal came on a A7Rii. In the end, I still keep using the Fuji XT10 I had before, and I think most photographers will slowly realize that although gear matters, if a camera took good photos now, it will continue to do the same for as long as its alive.
